2007 USF: Emerged as a playmaker for the Bulls, and was a leader of a young, talented, receiving unit. Played in 11 games, starting five times before he injured his knee in the 1st quarter at Rutgers and missed several games, otherwise his numbers would have been bigger. Third on the team with 34 receptions with 407 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Had a single-game high of six receptions against Elon and UCF, and single-game yardage high of 83 yards against UCF, and also scored two touchdowns against the Knights. Was also returned 11 kickoffs for 183 total yards and a long of 33.
2006 USF: Finished second on team with 37 receptions for 494 yards and two touchdowns. Also a dangerous runner, had five carries for 51 yards, including three touchdowns, matching Amarri Jackson's school record (2005) for a receiver. Had two 100-yard receiving days, six catches for 106 with a game-winning TD vs. FIU. Also had one of his three rushing TDs vs. FIU, a 14 yards score. In win over Syracuse had five receptions for 131 yards, including a 79-yard TD, and made the Big East honor roll. Scored on a 19-yard TD run at North Carolina, and a 22-yard TD run vs. Pitt. Led team with 14 kick returns for 22.6 average.
2005 USF: He played in 11 games on the season as a true freshman, catching 3 passes for 35 yards, and carried the ball once for a 7 yard gain.
CAPE CORAL HIGH SCHOOL - As a senior he was all-conference and all-district. He was ranked 47th top prospect in Florida by the Tampa Tribune, and all-south by the Ft. Myers News-Press. he also had 24 catches for 258 yards, 10 carries for 96 yards, and 203 kick return yards, one of those for a Cape Coral record 99 yarder against Barron Collier. Playing on defense, he had 58 tackles, three sacks, one interception for a TD, and 4 fumble recoveries. As a Junior he had 40 catches for 831 yards, 7 touchdowns, 21 carries for 216 yards, and 412 kick return yards, totaling 1,459 all-purpose yards. He set Cape Coral High records for: receiving yards in a game at 178 yards, Receiving yards in a season with 831yards, receptions with 40, career receptions with 71 and career receiving yards at 1,128 yards. |
