Tyshawn Taylor Injured in Altercation

Reports surfaced on Tuesday of a fight involving members of the Kansas basketball and football teams in front of Burge Union. Among the reported participants in the altercation is Kansas sophomore guard Tyshawn Taylor.

The Lawrence Journal World and other media outlets are reporting that Tyshawn Taylor was hospitalized after suffering a dislocated thumb on his left (non-shooting) hand during the scuffle.

Few comments have been made by the KU athletic department on the incident, as investigations are still ongoing.

Taylor is expected to miss three to four weeks of action.
