Hawks Return to Earth

The Colorado Buffaloes dealt the Kansas Jayhawks their first loss in conference play this season with a 60-59 win over KU in Boulder.

Colorado's Stephane Pelle canned a jumper with just under 30-seconds remaining in this one, giving the Buffs a one-point margin. In a wild finish, KU's Michael Lee missed just left with a desperation jumper from the baseline, and a Kirk Hinrich putback attempt was blocked giving Colorado the win.

Pelle finished with 27 for Colorado, and senior Nick Collison paced KU with 16 points.
