Nathan D’Cunha, Scout.com three-star offensive lineman originally from Paddington, Australia where he played for the West Sydney Pirates, an amateur football league and Santa Barbara City College is officially a Jayhawk with his letter of intent signed and faxed.

Accolades: All Conference Second Team, Captain

Strengths: His size, strength and maturity at 24.
Needs Work: Will need to adjust to playing at the Big 12 Level.

Additional Facts: D’Cunha was an offensive lineman for the West Sydney Pirates and participated in the World Games in Germany. He was also a rugby and basketball player. He initially committed to Baylor.

Recruiting Coach: Coach John Reagan

Expect to redshirt? Two years to play three, although an appeal has been made to the NCAA to add a third year.

Why KU? D’Cuhna was impressed with the academics at Kansas and sees a future in strength training and liked their program at Kansas.
