Last week the veterans -- led by Greg Ostertag -- narrowly defeated the current players in the informal Alumni-Player game at Horjesi center. Despite the return of JR Giddens, the team went down again this week. This time Kirk Hinrich headed up the alumni squad.

C.J. Giles was back in action after a few weeks on the sidelines. He recently lost 15-20 lbs due to illness, possibly related to food poisoning.
