Tyrone Jackson still likes Kansas and apparently, Kansas still likes Tyrone Jackson.
The 6-2 WR from Waller, TX is looking forward to visiting with Kansas this week and hopefully setting up an official visit to come see Lawrence very soon.
“I’d still say that Kansas is my leader. They’re supposed to come down and visit this Tuesday and we’ll hopefully set up an official visit then.”
Jackson says he wants to visit four schools, but currently has yet to set up an official visit.
After Kansas, the rest of his top four looks like this: Utah, Houston and finally, a late addition in Tulsa.
“Tulsa came into the picture about 3-4 weeks ago, but I’d put them at fourth overall on my list. Second right now, I’d say is Utah and then U of H (Houston).”
While Jackson would like to visit all four, he admits that one great visit could be enough to cancel all others. That great visit could come with Kansas, but the Jayhawks have yet to offer Jackson a scholarship. In the meantime, he’ll look forward to his chat with Kansas on Tuesday and watching the ‘Hawks in their bowl game on December 22nd.
“The Tangerine Bowl, that’s cool. I think they’ll give ‘em (N.C. State) a run for their money. We’re talking about a strong conference in the Big 12 here.”
