Summer may be beginning, but football season is just three months away.
The Kansas Jayhawks learned, Tuesday that their season opener against South Dakota on September 7, will kickoff at 6:00 p.m. The game will be televised on the Jayhawk IMG Television Network within the State of Kansas.
Last year’s season opener against South Dakota State was also broadcasted on the Jayhawk Network, which routinely broadcast Jayhawk basketball games not picked up by either conference or National network.
The game will mark the first meeting ever between Kansas and South Dakota and will be the first of two games, in which game times and television are known.
The following week, Kansas travels to Houston to take on Rice. That game will kick off at 6:30 and will be broadcast by CBS Sports Network.
As of now, no further game times or TV are known.
