Junior Film: Henry McGrew
Entering the 2012 season, Henry McGrew was a name opposing coaches in the Eastern Kansas League knew about. After capturing all-league honors for a second consecutive year, a growing number of college coaches are getting to know him, too. McGrew is a 6-foot-3, 227-pound man in the middle of Head Coach Eric Driskell's defense. The 2014 prospect was the Tigers' second leading tackler with 109 stops, 6 tackles for loss, 4 quarterback hurries, and 5 sacks from his linebacker spot. McGrew also became the star of Blue Valley's "heavy" offensive sets this season. Stepping into the Tiger backfield as a quarterback in the "elephant" sub package, McGrew was a key factor in the ground game. The junior proved to be a load in short yardage and goalline situations, where he scored several times. With early interest from Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Florida, Ole Miss, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Miami, he has clearly made an impression. Take a look at McGrew's Junior Film to see what coaches are talking about.
