Best Class?
Bill Self and Kansas have been recruiting at a high level in 2013, easily coming away with the best class in the conference so far and trail only Kentucky nationally.
It starts with five-star wing Wayne Selden, a very good athlete who is comfortable getting to the rim or step out and shoot. A strong player, Selden is physically ready for the college game already.
Brannen Greene is a shooter with length who is one of the best shooters in the class. The five-star small forward is ranked 31st overall in 2013.
Kansas fans will love Conner Frankamp, a guard that can flat out shoot it from all over the court, but is also a capable distributor.
The Jayhawks round out the class with point guard Frank Mason and four-star center Joel Embiid.
Other Winners?
Baylor has put together a pretty good two-man class, led by Dominic Woodson. The four-star center is a strong interior player, a good rebounder and can score on the block.
Also headed to Baylor is Ishmail Wainright, a very long and strong wing who is an elite athlete. Wainwright is a very tough defender and has a developing skill set.
West Virginia landed a couple of Top 100 prospects in Elijah Macon and hard working post Devin Williams.
Iowa State also brought home a couple Top 100 recruits in Matt Thomas and Monte Morris.
