Official word expected on Doyle today
Milton Doyle
Posted Aug 20, 2012

This weekend, reports began to surface that freshman guard Milton Doyle would leave the Kansas basketball program. Kansas Athletics is expected to release a statement on the status of the Chicago native later today.

Milton Doyle was a late addition to the massive, six-person signing class of 2012 for Head Coach Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks.

A 6-foot-3 combo guard, he was regarded as a hidden gem of the Chicagoland and, when Isaiah Thomas was let go as head coach, switched his commitment from Florida International to Kansas.

On the Jayhawks' recent European tour, however, he averaged just a handful of minutes and few points per game.

Check back with later in the day for an update as it is released.
