Class of 2012 now fully eligible

For the past two seasons, the Kansas Jayhawks haven't had the best luck on the eligibility front - with the difficulties surrounding Josh Selby in 2010 and both Ben McLemore and Jamari Traylor last year. Last month, the program got word freshman Milton Doyle had been cleared by the NCAA, and this week they received the same on Anrio Adams.

Phog.net confirmed the report of his clearance Sunday morning.

With Anrio Adams eligible, every member of the 2012-2013 Kansas Jayhawks is locked and loaded for competition as the program heads out on its exhibition tour of France and Switzerland this week.

Adams, a cat-quick and athletic point guard, arrived on campus during the first week of July. As a result he's playing a bit of catch up with the rest of the team, and struggled to find a rhythm during much of Saturday's open practice.

However, the physical talent is there in spades, and when things begin to slow down for him he could be in a position to shore up a position with significant questions hanging over it after the departure of Tyshawn Taylor - and make an already athletic team even more so in the process.

Adams and the Jayhawks depart for Europe today.
