Quick Take: Right now Bennett doesn’t seem close to having a decision. The scuttlebutt behind the scenes indicates that the
Florida Gators might be the team to beat, but
Kentucky is one to always watch. Also he goes to high school near
UNLV’s campus so it might not be wise to count out the Running Rebels. A decision will be made in a few weeks as Bennett is in no hurry to finish out his recruitment.

Quick Take:It is a constantly changing and evolving school list for Parker. Based on the time of day he seems to have a different top two or three. Buzz lately has centered around
UCLA,
Georgia, and
Duke, but there is no way of knowing for sure where Parker will land. He has no set timetable and no plans when he will announce his decision.

Quick Take: Jefferson has played it pretty close to the vest for a while now, and every time he seems close to making up his mind he pushes things back again. Most of the buzz surrounds NC State and Duke, though Jefferson has never publicly declared them leaders. Hometown schools
Villanova and
Temple are trying to make a late charge, but right now the smart money is on Jefferson ending up on Tobacco Road.

Quick Take:Pollard is one of the quietest kids in the class, and he doesn’t like to say much about his recruitment. A weekend official visit to
Georgetown is a big one here.
Mississippi State might be on the outside looking in due to a coaching change. Definitely do not count out
Alabama or
Texas which have been there with Pollard since the beginning.

Quick Take: Upshaw signed scholarship papers with
Kansas State, and upon the resignation of Frank Martin decided not to attend the school. Now Upshaw, who is currently out of the country, will search for a new school. The first time around schools such as
Louisville and
Fresno State were firmly in the mix, but until Upshaw is back in the country his recruitment won’t even be discussed.

Quick Take: Graham has committed to NC State twice only to de-commit both times. The athletic wing has had a tough time gaining stability off the floor and that has led to questions about his ability to qualify academically. Right now the odds are he goes either the prep school or junior college route and doesn’t sign anywhere.

Quick Take: Obekpa is one of the best shot blockers in the country. Right now he still has a visit left to Oregon, and already has seen the Big East schools on his list. Most of the talk has centered around
Cincinnati, St. John’s, and
Providence, but the longer this goes the more interesting it could get. One thing to consider is Obekpa’s high school teammate is committed to St. John’s.

Quick Take: A onetime Villanova commitment, Goodman is now open in the process. There is a slight chance he could stay local and go with Temple, but basically it is set and a done deal that he will attend prep school next season and become a part of the 2013 class.
