Ellis a McDonald's All-American

The rosters for the 2012 McDonald's All-American game were revealed Thursday afternoon, and once again a future Kansas Jayhawk will take part. Wichita (KS) Heights star Perry Ellis - currently in the midst of an incredible senior campaign with the Falcons - was named to the East roster.

Perry Ellis, a three-time Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year, recently broke the Wichita City League scoring record, previously held by former University of Kansas center Greg Dreiling.

On the season, Ellis is averaging 26.5 points and 9.7 rebounds per game for the 14-0 Falcons, while shooting 70-percent from the field and 45-percent from beyond the arc.

The 2012 iteration of the annual all-american game is set for Wednesday, March 28 at the United Center in Chicago. It marks the first time in the game's history it will be held in the same city during back-to-back years.

Additional information, including complete rosters, can be found at the McDonald's All-American Official Page.
