McCay picks Kansas

Prior to the hiring of Charlie Weis, the Kansas Jayhawks had not landed a five-star football prospect in the modern era of recruiting. Recently, transfers Dayne Crist and Jake Heaps put an end to that trend, and now they've added a third. Phog.net confirmed this morning that Oklahoma transfer Justin McCay is a Jayhawk.

The former Roeland Park (KS) Bishop Miege star, five-star prospect and U.S. Army All-American visited the University of Kansas officially Wednesday, where he took in the basketball program's highly-anticipated tilt with Kansas State.

Phog.net confirmed with a source close to McCay Friday morning that he had, in fact, given his commitment to the Jayhawks.
